The Caribbean, Saint Vincent
St Vincent and the Grenadines is another group of anglophone islands in the eastern Caribbean and varieties of English there share features with acrolectal varieties of English at other anglophone locations, e.g. r-lessness (this does not apply to Barbados, however), vowel monophthongs of mid length and syllable-timing. In the consonantal inventory one finds that the interdental fricatives /θ/ and /ð/ tend to be realised as stops, e.g. think [tɪŋk] and this [dɪs].
